Gendernauts is the groundbreaking, multi award-winning 1999 documentary by German filmmaker Monika Truet, which shows us a group of artists in San Francisco who live between the poles of conventional gender identities. The New York Times review of the film, after it’s February 4, 2000, United States premiere at Manhattan’s Cinema Village, had this to say about yours truly: 🙂

In this 5:49 minute video clip, of my segment in the film, I talk about some of my comical experiences being intersex & about feeling like neither a man or a woman, or both — essentially, about being non-binary or genderqueer, specifically gender fluid, although those terms wasn’t in use yet back then.
