I am deeply honored to be presenting at the United Nations in New York in recognition of Human Rights Day, Dec. 10th, along with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, tennis legend Martina Navratilova, basketball star Jason Collins (the 1st NBA player to come out as gay), and fabulous human rights activists Itumeleng “Tumi” Thandeka Mkhuma of South Africa and Anastasia Smirnova of Russia.

The panel is titled “Sports Comes Out Against Homophobia”, and I’ll be speaking about intersex people’s human rights needs, particularly as they pertain to discrimination against intersex women in sports.
