Supermodel Hanne Gaby Odiele comes out as intersex!

I am SO happy about this! Brava to supermodel Hanne Gaby Odiele for coming out as #intersex!
As outlined in USA Today, she did so, like all intersex advocates, to shine a light on the human rights abuse of nonconsensual cosmetic infant surgeries, aka Intersex Genital Mutilation (IGM), and to advocate for an end to the practice. As Odiele told USA Today:
“I am proud to be intersex,” she says, “but very angry that these surgeries are still happening.”
