Over the last decade I’ve published dozens of essays about being intersex, and intersex issues such as discrimination against intersex women in sport, dating, identity, human rights, the need to protect intersex babies and minors from irreversible, medically unnecessary surgeries, sexual pleasure, language, legal recognition, and much more.

I’m deeply proud of this work given the enormous need for education in a culture in which intersex people have been marginalized to the point of near invisibliity, and gener-fluid and non-binary people are often misunderstood and derided in a transphobic world.
